Jackson turned two this January. I've had shorthairs but I'm a hunter I've never tested or competed with a dog. Until I got Jackson I had never even been to a field trial. Jackson is completely trained and handled by me. This Saturday at the Fort Detroit GWP Club trial at Highland Michigan, our first trial of the year, off horseback Jackson won the Open Gundog. It was a 3 point retrieving major. This gave Jackson the last 2 retrieving points he needed for his field championship. He is now FC Jackson Brown Wagoners Lightning SH CGC NAI UTIII. I still love to hunt but trials, testing and NAVHDA let me extend my season almost year around and let's me really bond with my boy.

Again thank you everybody! It has been a good year so far. I ran Jackson in our first NGSPA Championship, Ohio Championships at Dresden, Ohio. His first time running an hour and he was named RU ASD. Very very proud of my boy.
