A Good Spring So Far...

Post by lvrgsp » Sun Apr 07, 2013 8:16 pm

Like to thank Rich Barber of Outbak Kennels, for all the finishing touches he has put on my Jill dog, winter camp was awesome....she had a 2nd place in south Georgia trial for 2 retrieving points, ripped apart the all breed.... got a 4 point major limited stake win this weekend, had a third in a gundog stake, but a few steps in the call back don't count, that's trialing...
6 points towards her FC this year in 2 trials.....

Rich has placed or won or runner up in every stake this year his hard work has paid off this winter....

Thanks

Chip...You deserve to brag. That's great stuff ! Keep us up to date on her. I'm saving a special cigar to "light up" when we hear more good news.

A little update. My Jill took a second in the 30 dog Open Limited Gun Dog stake
Today that was 2 more points.
In addition team Outbak took second third and fourth today.
Was another good weekend for Rich and Joyce.
First went Jarret Bell with a Vizsla?
Hope I have that right. The dog did a great job.
Was tough weather with heavy winds snow and sleet at
times...
Congrats to all

Thanks Denise. Yes we are running here at Palo this weekend. She runs tomorrow in the open gun dog.
That's where she took a second in the limited at.

Okay, your weather report sounded about accurate, and I live a little over an hour East of Palo. Really wish I could make it tomorrow to watch. :( Hope to hear some good news about Jill's run though!

Another little update Jill took a third yesterday in the OLGD at the Lansing field trial.
In addition congrats to Rich for taking first and second as well. 8 points this spring all she lacks is 2 retrieving points.
Congrats to all.
Thanks

Looks like things are going great. Big Kudo's to you , Rich and Joyce. If it's ok with you, I just might sip some of my favorite scotch when I light up that cigar when Jill gets those two points. Not putting any pressure on, but won't light up that baby until I hear the good news (won't give any details, but it is a very special cigar 8) ! )
