Congrat's to all. Sure wish I lived closer, I really enjoyed your (both you and the Gulledges) company at Booneville last year. Especially now that they have a new trailer.

What are we gonna do with these goofy fieldtrialers????

All Age dog of the year? All Age National Champion?.... What is that?

Answer:
It is the pinnacle, the apex, the king, the head honcho, the big man on campus. It's why we criss cross the country at all hours of the day and night pulling a trailer load of horses and dogs. It's why some are able to see the sun rise most every day of their lives caring for and working their charges. It's why we travel 14 hrs. one way to a trial with one dog to run, get picked up in 30 seconds for taking out a bird and all you can talk about on the long humble trip home is where the next trial is. It's driving all night, getting home at 4:00 in the morning from a trial after getting your butt whipped and unloading the horses just to saddle them up and turn loose a set of dogs. It's refusing to give up when your favorite dog leaves this world. It's sunburn, it's frostbite, it's being struck by lightning, it's being thirsty, its being soaking wet, it's having a soar a$$, it's being kicked in the face by a horse, it's getting thrown off your horse, it's cold nights in the trailer, it's getting blown off by your dog, it's thousands of miles behind the wheel.... and coming back for more loving every second of it. It's the new friends, the old friends, the new places, the comradery, the kids, the wives, the husbands, the lifestyle... it's the memories folks... It's all about the memories. It's the undescribable relationship between a man, a horse, and his dog. It's the culmination of countless hours of work, the blood, the sweat, and the tears of all those involved. It's the look in a dogs eye, the intensity on point, the tireless, efficiant, and effortless pursuit of game. It's the glory of a win, the agony of defeat, the dedication, the passion. Whether it is one of many or something you've worked 40 years for I can only imagine the feeling is the same. Congrats Brooks, Keith, and Robbi

THIS right there^^^, is an absolutely EXCELLENT post and true to the word!

CONGRATS to all involved! It is no easy task and takes a ton of miles in both the saddle of a horse and the "saddle" behind the wheel; a lot of blood, a lot of sweat and a whole lot of tears! Job well done!
