Show debut

Today in Tallmadge OH our youngest GSP had her show debut. She took winners bitch for 1 point and best opposite sex. Not bad for her and my first time in the show ring.

Wow, congrats! It's not an easy thing to do, especially for a first-time handler!

It's a thrill. I had a pup get his 2 major wins our first weekend a few years ago. Walked in the clouds for a while after that.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Thank-you everyone. It was a thrill. Until then I had just watched as my wife handled our other bitch in the ring. I finally had to "put my money where my mouth was" and go in with one myself. I am hooked. We showed again on sunday but didn't win. She showed well though. We lost to the same pro handler of an open bitch that we beat on saturday. All of this from the 9 to 12 month puppy class. Gracie turned 1 year old today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACIE
