Pretty girls *CAN* & *DO*...a brag on Poo
It's a little late coming, but I'm just starting to get caught up from a week's vacation and months of computer issues.
Anyway, for starters, I am quite new to the field trial game and very new to the "forum" as well. In fact I think I've attended more field trials without a dog, before Potter came along. She is my first "trial" dog, first Gundog, first homebred conformation Champion, out of my first litter as a Vizsla breeder.
Potter (aka "Poo") is in her second Gundog season and in just a few trials probably has me in for quite an exciting time.
Handled by her trainer, she received an Award of Merit at the Vizsla Club of America's Gundog Nationals this February and stepped up her game just a tad more boosting herself to a Blue ribbon and our first TWO Amateur Gundog Retrieving points, handled by myself...two weekends ago at the KY Pointing Breeds Association Spring trial.
To say I am proud, would be an understatement. I am most honored that she allows me to share the spotlight with her and that at the end of each day, she is just as content on the couch, as she is in the field.
Here's looking forward to the rest of the season!!!

Brenda,
I have some really nice pics but lost the email addy you gave me. Give it to me again and I'll send them over.
In my haste I *did* forget to mention Potter's trainer, Jamie Fountain who took Potter under his care almost two years ago and broke her and campaigned her lightly last year. Late in the season, he turned her over to me to learn to handle. Many mistakes were made, many "walks of shame"....but each time we learned at the guidance of our trainer..and now he's turned his girls loose on the field!
Thanks Caleb, Jeff, & Brenda....I've met some AWESOME people through trialing and look forward to many more good times to come!!

Hey Holly, welcome to GDF! (I've talked with you on the phone before about your V's, but it's been several years ago, you didn't have a litter at the time, and we didn't end up getting another red dog anyway)
Potter looks good!

Gratz Holly!
Brenda - you're right - Holly is being modest.
I had the pleasure of scouting Potter for her winning run in IN. Potter demonstrated all aspects of a class gundog. She had an nice race, hunting likley objectives which resluted in two finds where perfect bird work was demonstrated. On top of that, Potter had a beautiful back and a flawless stop to flush. Potter showed everyone watching how it is done that day - and the judges agreed.

Congrats Holly! Shooter's proud of his little girl.
I suppose the price to take her off your hands is a little higher now?
