Had a nice weekend....

Post by lvrgsp » Sat Mar 07, 2009 7:06 pm

Well the dogs had a nice weekend...
Jack took a 2nd in the OGD and Jill took a 2nd in the OD.....Jack had 3 nice pieces of birdwork and a good ground race...Jill had 1 find and a scorching ground race and found her standing at time......WooHoo..

Thanks,

Chip

Chip,

Congratulations. Sounds like you had a great weekend.

Are you going to Ionia? I'd like to see your dogs run.

Thanks guys,
John I won't be going to Ionia, I have 2 more AF walking trials here close to home this spring, and I just found out that Jack is leading the points for the
Field Trial Clubs of Illinois AF Walking DOY by 50 points, so I really need to make those 2 trials. But congrats to you and Natasha @ the Gateway, and good luck the rest of the spring to you and the rest of Dennis' trial string.

Yea it's exciting I think its 20 pts between me and 2nd and between me and 4th is a total of 40 pts, so very close. One little problem I'm gonna have is Jack was supposed to run in the Walking Winners Classic which is a double pts. trial, and I will be in Florida that weekend, so even if he places in the other 2 trials or wins them both, theres still a possibility we won't have enough pts. Alot of trialing left yet to decide, and he's got to get it done. Hey Ted, if he wins we'll have steak night Friday again..... :D

Thanks for the encouragement,
Chip

I'd be gittin' Rick to run that dog for ya. Can't be lettin' the long tails beat ya when you know you have the better dog.

Doug, you must have overheard my conversations... (That's scary)
I talked about that with Rick since he will have Jack and Jill at his place while I am gone. I had a couple of people offer that for me. Still looking into that possibly. Rick could probably handle him for me he knows him as well as I do. Not sure if Rick knows those grounds to well, and being that Jack does he's getting to be a bit handy in a few spots, that might be a bit tricky for him, it's still a good possibility though...

Thanks Brett.

Thanks,
Chip
