This past Sat, at the Lewiston-Auburn Kennel Club dog show, my little liver girl Jade ( Wild Mtn's Lone Star Rendezvous) went Winner's Bitch for her second major to complete her bench CH title. This in itself was real reason to celebrate because Jade has only been shown sparingly (owner handled) when I have been able to sneak a dog show or two into the middle of our field trials seasons. She has been out seriously campaigning with a good friend of mine for just 6 short weeks, being shown to judges who appreciate the liver coloration in the Brittany. and has been doing well so far.
BUT.....she not only took the points for WB to finish the CH title, she ALSO went BEST OF BREED over a top ranked Special!!! Now we really got excited! There were 12 Britts entered at this show so this was a really nice win.
AND TO TOP it all off she went on bring home a Group Two Placement to add the icing to the already richly flavored cake.
You can all imagine the hooping and hollering that went on between Maine and PA last Sat night, I'm sure.
Jade has 7 points toward her FC title to date and she will now return to the field to try to pick those up too
She will hopefully achieve her DC title some day and will be the third DC for us. 
It would only be the right thing!!! Thanks everyone....we are STILL flyin high.....
