Tough Start to my Season

Temperatures hit 70 degrees and the wind was almost nonexistent all day. We found birds, but many flushed just out of range. I had three opportunities in just over 11 miles of walking. I connected with all three roosters, but we were only able to recover one. Echo rarely has an issuing recovering a wounded bird so I was disappointed that we were not able to find the last two pheasants. Hopefully, we get some cold and snow in the next few weeks.

Enjoyed that video. Warm here in Ontario too. :(

It's tough hunting on hot, dry, windless days. Thanks for posting the video.
