New MH, What a Year!

Post by Coveyrise64 » Mon Nov 13, 2006 10:05 pm

TJ's Miss Filson finished her MH Title on Saturday at the Trinity Valley Weim Club event in Alvord, TX. To say 2006 has been a good year is an understatement. Freckles finished her SH and MH in 8 out 10 entries and has 2 prize III's and 2 prize II's in 4 NAVHDA Utility Tests. Her best scores were 196 Prz III and 188 Prz II. She has had 4's or Prz I scores in every phase of the Utility Test but there is usually one bump in the road that keeps that Prz I out of reach. Got one more in December at the Lonestar NAVHDA. What makes this 3-1/2 yr old even more exciting is she hunts wild birds with the same intensity. I have been blessed to own such a hunting companion. Many thanks to my friends up north for their input and to Snips for her advice.

Thanks so much for the compliments and encouragement. Still working on that UT I and hopefully can finish that next month. If not, I am going to turn her loose on what Okla quail I can find and then pick back up next year. Who knows, I might even try a FT or NSTRA event. I also have her half sister (pic in avatar) that I will start at the MH level in the spring.

Thanks again....
