Double Brag

Post by rkalgren » Mon May 29, 2006 6:09 am

Our two oldest daughters (14 and 13) made their show debuts on sunday in New Castle. They both won there classes over pro handlers and then the oldest took winners bitch for the first point on our oldest GSP. Talk about funny, when they were in together for winners bitch true to form the youngest dog concentrated on trying to catch the oldest ones tail.

Congrats.

BTW, I never noticed before, but your older bitch and my pup are related through the von Haag stuff.

As in Stan Haag, from central Iowa? As Obi Wan said, that is a name I have not heard for a long, long time.

Yep. I understand Doc Haag is in KS now.

Jackie's Jernie vom Haag is where my dog intersects in.

I have to admit that I know nothing about that part of my dogs pedigree. I have spent alot of time researching all of the champions in the line but not that part. Shame on me, I will see what I can find.

Seems like pawvillage is very under utilized. Glad to see you recommend it Bruce. ..."pear"

I have been on the PawVillage.com site. Alot of the info on there for my dogs I entered. Unfortunately it doesn't go any farther back than that. On the show champions stuff I can go back 19 or 20 generations so I have learned alot more about them. Thanks for trying Bruce, I really appreciate it.

19 to 20 gens!!! Wow!! You need to show me where your getting your ped d-base! I go back anywhere from 9-12 and I start hitting "holes" and have to go back to the German Stud Book! So come on, SHARE!

PS. Are you and the Fam. going to Waynesburg??
