Diegos First Pheasant

Diego met his first pheasant today. He had seen alot of them when the big dogs made point but this is the first one he found himself.

Not only was it a pheasant it was a nice size rooster I would have taken a shot at if we were in season.

After finding this pheasant nothing could hold him back he was ranging as far as Bailey was and was checking every bush and cattail bunch he could.

Im so proud of him even though he didnt point it. Maybe next time he will lock up. The main thing is he isnt afraid and wants to keep going. I hope he does as good next weekend.
