I'm happy to announce that our girl Buffy qualified for her 4th and final Senior Hunter leg at the North Florida GSP Club Hunt Test this past weekend. She completed the title in 6 attempts with 2 nice finds and an even nicer stop to flush. She needed a little, ahem, encouragement, to complete her retrieve, but it was to hand and without a drop.
She's the perfect example of how a smart dog can actually be much more difficult to train than a dumb one.
She's been a challenge, but this season has been very encouraging as she seems a lot more interested in working with me vs doing whatever the heck she wants.
