Scarlett, Cherrystone Gone With the Wind JH,NSD, placed third in the Western Field Futurity in CA this past weeked. She then went on to place third in the Derby.
This same little girl won the points from the Bred by Exhibitor class at the Winter National Show Specialty in Dec. for a 4 pt. major and then went on to place 2nd in the Derby at the Weimaraner National Field Championship at Ardmore, OK. This is the first time in the 52 year history of the events that a dog who has won the pts. in the show has placed in the trial. She was handled to the show win by myself and the field placement by Diane Vater.
I am very proud of this pup!! She is currently the #1 Derby Weimaraner.

sounds to me like gundogforum has a good thing going with Weimeraners and history this last weekend. Congrats and good job, we all know how hard you worked for it.

LOL Aline got to see us in the show ring in Dec. It was great to see so many field people watching the specialty. I wish that there wasn't such a split between field and show in the Weimaraner world.
