List your kennel for free - GunDogBreeders.com

Post by PointingGunDogs » Tue Oct 03, 2006 10:19 pm

After having a hard time finding quality gun dog breeders in our area, my buddy and I decided to build a site to help bring potential buyers and gun dog breeders together. Let me know what you think.

Feel free to list your dog kennel or breeding program. We also offer free classified ads for litter announcements where you can upload up to 30 pics.

We welcome any feedback as we are just fine tuning the site.[/url]

The list of breeds and breeders list Brittany Spaniel and the dogs are just Brittanys. The Spaniel was dropped years ago.

You also need a link to this forum.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

When was "spaniel" dropped? It wasn't that long ago, was it? Just a couple years ago?

Steve I don't remember for sure without looking it up but my guess would be 5 or 6 years ago maybe longer.

Thanks for the tip on Brittanys. However, I did a fair amount of research on search engine keywords and the searches for "Brittany Spaniel" are more than double that of simply "Brittany". Since I depend on the search engines for my web traffic I decided to go ahead and leave the "Spaniel" since apparently most people still call them "Brittany Spaniel". I think as time moves on more and more of the general public will accept them as just Brittanys.

I'll get a link up pointing to the forum soon. That is a good idea.

They are still Spaniels in Canada and the French brittanys are using it too I think

They dropped the spaniel part back in the mid 80's

the CKC still labels them as a brittany spaniel

then there is the french name which does include the spaniel also
