AKC Ponting dogs field trial rules & regs
Are the AKC field trials rules & regs posted online somewhere? I am at work and wanted to look something up but I don't have the rules & regs book with me.
Thanks

Thanks for that link amigo. House burned down about 6 yrs ago and I lost my book. Never thought to replace it. There have been a few changes but the content is for the most part intact with the old book. I see where they did define a derby as a future gun dog or all age dog. Boy did I have a war with a certain Britt pro that was certain I should have picked only all age dogs.
If anyone judges, the Oregon Brittany Club used to give the judges really great score books. Kept up, everything you watched, even the boring, was recallable later. Wish I still had one of those too.

Don, I may have a blank page from a judges book that you are talking about. I was partnered with an old timer that wrote a novel each brace. He showed me all he did was fill out a form that allowed him to recount the brace in detail. I'll see if I can find it and scan it.Don wrote:

If we seperated, he could give a great replay of the dog he followed.
