Went to the dark side and got one of them dogs that just stand and stare at birds.... this is Stella. She's 9 weeks old tomorrow.

I have admittedly not seen all the baby pointing dogs in the world, but I am pretty knowledgeable as to breeds and adult dogs. But I'm working away through what this one might be. Is it a German Longhaired Pointer?

Your going to enjoy hunting alot more now. You actually get to be able to enjoy your surroundings instead of having to constantly pay attention to a flusher.

More or less in the enjoyment department? Debatable. Following a cocker around (bundle of fun and energy) is pretty darn enjoyable…..But, I’m with you, on the relaxation and taking stock of your surroundings aspect. What a way to spend some time before we check out. Mix the two together, and all bets are off! 👍🏻

Stella is a small munsterlander. I hunt regularly over her mother with the hawk. I'm pretty excited to see what this girl does. Planning on only birds and guns for this year and next at the very least before I start using her as a falconry dog. I want a staunch point first if I'm going to own a pointer....it better point lol.

If nothing else she sure is a pretty girl. Haven't done much formal training yet - just being a puppy and learning how to be a good girl in the house.
