Lost another good one

Post by deseeker » Tue Mar 02, 2021 1:42 pm

I lost another good dog, Quick Shooter SH  I almost got 15 years out of him. He was a good co-pilot & a great hunting dog. Pheasants were his game and there weren't many better :!: He knew how to pin ND, SD, & NE. ringnecks. In the off season I played the AKC hunt tests games with him. He also liked to watch college football after our Saturday morning hunts. He was also good clearing a room with his GAS  RIP Shooter I'll miss you.

condolences. they are such a special part of the family. I firmly believe a hunting dog is mourned to a greater degree than a basic house pet. it takes a hunting dog owner to understand that

You would think it would get easier to deal with as we get on in years, for myself it seems it is quite the opposite. I cherish the special ones I had, and dread the inevitable more and more with each passing year. Sorry for the pain you are feeling, happy for the memories have.
