Greetings From Minnesota

Post by Arank87 » Sat Jan 23, 2021 1:44 pm

Hello all,
I just got a 9 week old English setter puppy last week. My plan is to train him myself and focus primarily on pheasants and grouse. I’ve never trained a dog before and I’m only a novice upland hunter but I’m obsessed with both. I have a million questions about dogs and training so hopefully I don’t annoy you all  I’m using the Ronnie Smith method combined with some stuff I see on the Standing Stone Kennels YouTube channel. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

I was thinking the same thing. Lots of good setters and breeders in Minnesota.
