New GDF Moderator - slistoe

A note to say thanks, and welcome, to slistoe for coming on board as a back-up Moderator for GDF. He will take on the task of keeping the TRADING POST forum ads up to date. Slistoe has been a member of GDF since 2007 and a major contributor on this Board. His demonstrated knowledge of gun dogs and balanced perspectives will serve well in his new role.
Sharon continues to handle the yeoman's share of Board management tasks, thank you SO much, Sharon, for being the primary mover-and-shaker ensuring that GDF is well run and informative and a place where gun dog lovers of all ages are welcome! Having been a GDF member since 2008, she took on the mantle as a moderator as of Sept 2017 and since that time her skills as a forum arbiter, new member welcomer, and member support specialist/guide - as well as being a powerhouse-poster and information organizer - have been invaluable.
Thanks also to mnaj_springer, another long-time member of GDF since 2014 and a major topic contributor, who from early 2019 continues in his role as a Moderator and provides moderator support as needed.
A Moderator's "job" isn't always easy as member opinions can clash, tempers can flare for reasons beyond this online Board, and some information can be mis-information that needs addressing, along with tending to general membership and Board management tasks. So all of us as members of GDF owe thanks to these members who've been willing and able to take on responsibility as Moderators keeping GDF running!
PS: When you see a member name with RED lettering, that's someone who is a current Moderator. Someone whose name is lettered in GREEN was a former Moderator - though they are no longer active moderators (two who have passed on: Ezzy333 and jcbuttry8) we honor their generous donation of time and talent in that role.
