Got any spare mojo?

Post by shags » Thu Jan 30, 2020 6:34 am

If ya do, would you mind sending some this way?

Today my old guy goes for surgery to have a nasty thingy removed from his leg. I'm hoping above hope that it isn't a mast cell tumor, and will ask my good vet to take the widest margins he can just in case.

Then next week my young dog goes to Ohio State for an evaluation of a mass in his eye. My vet thinks it's a type of tumor that is generally benign, but it needs to be removed because it will grow and compromise his eye.

I tell you what, I've had a bunch of surgeries and never felt a minute of nervousness about them, but when it comes to my boys going under the knife, I'm shaky! :(

I don't know how much good mojo I've got to spare, but you are welcome to whatever there is - good luck!

I worked a lot with the Ohio State ophthalmologists, and they’re some of the best in the world. Sending you all the good vibes I have.

No mojo but prayers for you and your dog.

Thanks all for the good wishes :)

The older dog's leg bump report came back as 'no worries' :D

My younger dog's eye is a different story. He got a preliminary workup at OSU and goes back in a month for a recheck and ultrasound. Then we decide on where to go from there.
