Best booties for hunting dogs?

Post by porochi » Sun Nov 10, 2019 10:04 pm

Looking for booties for my GSP. Ones that will stay on all day during a hunt. Heard Muttluks are a good brand. Anyone tried them? Any other recommendations?

I used to run with them at one time but don't need them where I hunt now. At that time, I ran a variety of brands. Most often, I ended up with a 3 or 2 boot set because the dogs would throw a boot along the way.
I went to duct tape which was easier on the boot budget and was easy to replace as required.

The only ones I have ever heard / seen on hunting dogs are Lewis Boots. I have never used them, but they seem to have quite a following.
