seal kennel concrete

did anybody seal the concrete in your kennel?? if so, what product did you use? anything special to consider since there will be dogs on it?

One of the advantages of having my runs "broom finished" and left unsealed is that it toughens pads and helps control nail growth.
What you need to consider is that the sealant should not become slippery in wet weather too.
Slope is critical. It doesn't have to be 15 degrees but you need to ensure you have enough slope so that you don't get pooling. After that, I wouldn't bother with it, personally.
I did not seal either of my two sections of kennel runs. The first one was laid in 1986 - still looks great - no pressure cuts AND no cracks either!
Funny enough the second pad was poured around 1992. It did crack but....otherwise it's fine.
