I have a Garmin Aalpha 100 and I usually run it with the compass showing and the little box on the bottom of that screen showing the dog name and distance. Does anyone know of a setting to make the text for the dog name and distance a little bigger?

I don't have the Alpha, but found something today on my 320/t15 mini that might help, if your alpha takes more than one collar.

I run 2 collars and got a notice that one of the two ( I had only one in use), the one I wasn't using, was being interferred with by another unit. Screen asked if I wished to cease tracking on that one. I entered 'yes' and the text for the remaining collar was enlarged. Wow, huge difference! No squinting! No "is that 300 or 600 or 800?"

OK, so was messing with my handheld and found this...you're on the 'compass' screen > menu > choose 'big numbers' from the list.

If you already have big numbers, then the list will have small numbers as the choice.

Edited to add...When you have big numbers (letters) only one dog's name will appear on your handheld screen. To switch to another dog, toggle right or left.

The alpha is the same way when you switch to one dog

Did not see that choice on any menu. I'll call garmin.

According to Garmin, shags is correct. But can't have larger text running 2 dogs on one locked screen.
