Anyone else ever seen this?

Post by natel24 » Mon Jul 11, 2016 3:38 pm

So my 2 year old shorthair, gibby, has gotten tired of chasing tweety birds from the ground and has now found a way to climb trees. He started off kinda small, now he is getting to the tops of 18-20 ft pine trees. Happens everyday. Sorry couldnt get the image to rotate, look close hes in there.

Cool pic, but I'm not sure I would want my dogs doing that. Also, that's a spruce tree ;)

This might be a new desirable trait for pointing treed ruffs. :D I had a Lab climb up into a tree when a dummy got stuck on a branch. But less than 8 ft off the ground.

I've had a couple of tree climbers over the years but they weren't bird dogs. I've got an almost 9 year old American Bulldog/LabxDoberman mix who still gets up there a pretty good ways.
