Perfect Pedigrees

Post by remmy » Mon Mar 28, 2016 2:42 pm

It will not allow me to update a current pedigree or add a new one. I keep getting an error message. I've tried from different computers as well. Anyone else having s problem? I tried emailing admin but my emails are being returned. This is frustrating since I cannot even get in touch with anyone to inform them of the problem.

I was having the same problem. Sent the powers to be an email and never heard a word. I finally went in and entered all the information without using any apostrophes or dashes and it appear to take without the error message.

I gave up after no reply from the powers that be. I used gundogcentral.com's pedigree system. It worked marvelously.

It is a website where you can create and store your dog's pedigree. I cannot believe it is still giving me an error message. Does anyone know how to get in touch with an admin there? I tried but my emails get kicked back. Very frustrated.

Remmy, I was told they are working on it. Rob ha no knowledge on how it was set up and he had to contact Grant and they were doing a lot of improvements to the whole board.

I guess it still isn't working right?
I tried to remove, edit and create pedigrees and couldn't do any.

There is a new Pedigree site online. You must submit certified pedigrees to have them added for the sake of correctness, but there are 26,000 verified GSPs online now. See Breeding info. Make Trial Pedigrees. See OFA stats, if applicable. Check out http://www.gspancestry.com and then dust off those AKC pedigrees (NAVHDA, American Field and NSTRA also accepted) and send them in via email!

This is a relational database, meaning your pedigree could link up with other dogs and you could potentially see 10+ generations. This is a free service. We are not selling anything, and no dog is copied from other databases. All are verified via certified pedigrees or OFA/AKC searches.

Here is an example of an 8 generation pedigree on FC Dixieland's Rusty: http://www.gspancestry.com/cgi-bin/gene ... db=GSP.dbw

Is perfect pedigrees ever going to get fixed? Lots of stored pedigrees out there that are not accessible.

The domain is for sale for $2288. Same thing happened to me on one of my domains, it expired and someone (or company) bought it and "held it ransom" so to speak. If you got enough people together, you might be able to start a GoFundMe page to raise $$ to buy it back and re-establish it.

But if you buy the domain, what are the odds the info/all the pedigrees are intact?
