Dog's look liked they were having fun, Guns looked like they were having fun . No one died ! except the birds .

I noticed a few practices that would likely draw the ire of the hunter safety instructors. Looked like a fun day of hunting. Don't get many wild birds to hold like that.

Nice dog work . Love the looks of the dogs . Noticed you shot a hen. What state allows this on wild phez??? Saw no retrieving Is this where the dog points and hunter makes the retrieve...

At the end of the video, it said it was a preserve hunt.
Re: Pointing Dog Pheasant Hunting video
I've had wild pheasant on public land in SD hold so well I was afraid my lab was going to catch them and she can awfully close, until I limited out and then put her a way for the day. I then grabbed my camera and followed my father with his brittanies. It was quite cold and there was a fresh 2-3 inch snow fall so the birds hunkered down in the laying ground vegetation. Perfect conditions to get solid points.ckirsch wrote:I noticed a few practices that would likely draw the ire of the hunter safety instructors. Looked like a fun day of hunting.
