GSP breeders

Post by Sharon » Mon Aug 31, 2015 11:47 am

posting for a friend

Could you please recommend GSP breeders with good reputations in Michigan , Pennsylvania or New York State? The friend plans to hunt the dog only not trial. Thanks.

Got my pup from Rob Moerman in Kalamzoo MI. Got one of his last litters but he would know who has what. Been in it over 40 years and has had a really good track record.

Ditto on this--and his kennel is called Abbe Lane. Who is your pup out of?

Another recommendation would be Shotgun Kennels, they have a lot of Abbe Lane lines as well :)

As long as we're getting out of the requested area Grouse Point Kennels in Wisconsin has a very nice litter coming up. The litter should produce pups with a ton of point, retrieve, water love and lots of cooperation. Litter was bred a couple of week ago.

Looks like he is going to go with Rimrocks out of Clayton NY. Seems to breed the kind of GSP he is looking for.

Appreciate all the suggestions folks.

Dan Dimambro of Monkeyshine Kennels just had a litter. He is from MI but currently traveling on the FT circuit. He should be back in Mi in Oct.
