Deep snow

Post by diplomat019 » Mon Feb 16, 2015 7:57 am

How do you guys manage hunting in deep snow? I have about 2 feet of it. Is it not feasible to hunt in that deep? What's your trick or do you just hunt another day?

My dogs don't mind deep snow. They don't need to be taken to "birdy" areas, just out for a workout. :D

Fine for the 9 year old to run and enjoy himself, not possible for the 14 year old or the JRT

icy topping on the snow can easily = a broken leg

We currently have almost 4 ft of snow. Common sense - it is not huntable.
