Brittany Breeders California

Someone in the family is now finally set on a Brittany. Any recommendations for breeders in California? Willing to drive i'm sure, but we're near the bay area.

There is a trial this weekend put on by the northern california brittany club this weekend. It is at clear creek sports club in Corning. Right behind the rolling hills casino. I bet someone could help you.

I'm going to try to make it. Are you familiar with Shiloh Brittanys? Looks like the only people I can find with pups currently.

Ez4---
Go to the American Brittany Club web site. Look up the regional club contacts. If you call them they can tell you who is breeder referral for each regional club is(those people usually know who has local litters. You might try chukar12 on this site---he has a couple of good studs that might of been used lately. You might try Ed Mayhew(K9 on here might be able to tell you where he is at). Tri'd N Tru might have some. Penny Peterson(she belongs to one of the regional CA. clubs)she has good dogs. Good luck with your search :D

Check With Chukar 12 here on this board. His name is Joe Gower and he has some really good dog but would also know where there might be some pups in that area.

I just got back from the Corning field trial and there is a guy there with pups on the ground with great pedigree. I also know of a planned litter coming this fall. Are you looking for a dog to trial (all age or gun dog?) or to foot hunt with?

I was hoping to make it this weekend, but things came up. My buddy is just looking for a good foot hunting quail dog, no trialing. A little this fall might work out for him.

A guy named Jim Cullor has pups on the ground and Suzanne Marlow has a litter planned this fall. I sent you a PM with their contact information. Good luck.
