Scam warning

I recently was targeted from a gentleman using the name Phillip Anderson from Idaho responding to an add I had on a couple different online classifieds for puppies. He sent me a cashiers check for more money then agreed upon wanting me to send the rest to his shipper. I new of such scams but through emails he didn't include any personal contact info and this made me unsure. I contacted the bank on the check and the supported my idea that this was a scam and even told me that this was the third time that this person had done this that they know off. I just wanted to let people know of this to beware. Again he was using the name Phillip Anderson (phillip555ander@gmail.com) from Idaho.
