Garmin 320 with dc40, or dc50

Has anybody had experience with the dc50? How does it do in the grouse woods? Would you suggest the 40 or 50? Thanks!

I sent my DC 50 back.
I'm going to get a replacement, hope it works better than the first one.

The dc-50 would lose communications with my 320,quite often. Numerous times when the dog was within 50 - 60 yards.

Any luck with the new one?

Have not got it back yet, should be here early next week.
My confidence level is not high, a hound board I frequent has numerous guys with the same problem.

I got the new one yesterday. So far I'm not impressed. Just running in the yard at no more than 80 yards away, the comms were only showing 3 of 5 bars of signal strength. This weekend I'll get it in the woods and see how it performs.

I read a lot on different forums, and went with the more proven dc 40. It is on backorder at cabelas. ships in 1 to 2 weeks.

Latest update on my DC 50, it will be going back for a refund.
It keeps losing comms with the 320 at short range, and on this second one, the battery life sucks.
I'll stick with my DC 40's.
