vom Mountain Creek Kennel update.
The project is finally nearing completion, it takes a while when you have to do it all yourself in your "spare time".
Front view with 5'X10' indoor/outdoor kennel runs.
Inside dog compartments with 2 piece hinged lids for easy access and cleaning.
Dog compartments with lids closed.
Rear of kennel building with 5' door for moving large equiptment or tools. Also has 1 ton A/C for staying cool in the summer months and has exhaust fan to be installed in top of gable.
Wall oppisite dog compartments where training table and other equiptment will be.
Inside of front enterance.

That is an awesome kennel. What would you charge to build one in TN?

If you had to figure labor and materials I imagine it would be rather expensive. Thankfully I could do all the work myself or it would not have been possible

Did you do all the Masonry as well? Man it turned out great, my only other question is are you going to insulate the metal portion?

Yes I did the concrete, block and tile work as well, literally everything. The metal portion is insulated with 2 1/2" of foam insulation between the outside metal and the inside metal. The block cavities are also insulated with perlite.ACooper wrote:Did you do all the Masonry as well? Man it turned out great, my only other question is are you going to insulate the metal portion?

Re: vom Mountain Creek Kennel update.
I got a little more work done since the first pics.
Rear of kennel building with 5'0" door, 1 ton A/C and louvered exhaust fan.
I installed the exhaust fan on a variable speed control with 500 CFM capabilities and automatic louvers.
I fabricated some door shrouds out of 304 SS.

That is an awesome set up !
Where did you find the 5' wide door ? Is that custom made ?
You have every right to be proud of this project , I'd brag about it too !
