Wondering if they would share a loft with a few quail or chukars for a couple weeks without all-out war breaking out.

As long as its big enough. Each bird needs a cubic foot minimum.

Just had a few quail and pheasants in with my pigeons and no problems...

Had a couple of chukar in with the pigeons. No problems that I saw.

The only problem I had was the chukar getting out through the bobs. Fortunately the ones that got out came back in the evening and I was able to net them after dark. I kept the predator door closed after that but was not able to work with the pigeons unless I caught the chukar and penned them separately until the pigeons got back in.
