Jrclmn18 has one. He posted a video on here a while back that was shot with one. He strapped it to his dog a couple of weeks ago. I haven't seen any of that footage yet. He can help you out with the pros and cons.

I have one that I mount on my helmet for motorcylce rides and my RZR for off road stuff. I have b=never used it for hunting. MY son has one of the Xtreme sunglasses with the camera he uses while huntng. He gets some good footage on that.
We have often thought of putting the go pro on the shotgun.

I use one of these regularly to show the skill set of a particular dog or even to video a good hunt. I normally wear mine with the head strap. This footage is neat as it shows you lining up on the bird for the shot and etc. I believe the chest strap mount may offer a little more stability as I do not believe I move my chest around nearly as much as my head.

I use a Hero 2 with the head strap to film my waterfowl hunts, works good, I like the pov footage.

I got one for Christmas

Finally got to use it a couple of days ago at a preserve.

I mounted mine on the bill of a ball cap as close to the forehead as possible. ( see my shadow in video )

I think it accentuates the buonce of my steps.

Haven't finished editing the new footage. There are a few different aspects for the camera so you can have different views. Wide view is the setting of this video but it makes it difficult to see the bird in flight. The GoPro is a very cool device with many uses no doubt. Most video on the head is unstable but easy to edit and the new ones can be controlled remotely from any cellphone with wifi capability. For footage from the dogs perspective you can sync to the phone in hand and see what the camera is filming and control then settings as well as on/off buttons. YouTube will offer a stability edit on your video when you post so if it's too difficult you can let that website do it.
