Astro 320 tip

Post by nj gsp » Fri Oct 26, 2012 6:46 pm

For those of you with an Astro 320, I would not recommend that you remove that batteries by taking the battery cover off and slapping the Astro into your palm if you have a micro SD card installed. Normally, I pry up the end of the battery to pop it out, but I was hurry - my pup was somewhere 100 yards or so out in the woods and his bell had stopped ringing...

If you do it that way, the card clip can swing out and the card will fall out. You might not even notice because its so small. I apparently lost it two weeks ago, and just found out yesterday. :(

Somewhere in the western mts of Maine is an 8 GB Micro SD card with a bunch of Birdseye images on it. If you find it, I'd like it back...

When I replace it, I'm going to add a little piece of electrical tape over the card clip as insurance, and put another piece of tape under the batteries to make it easier to pop them out.
