Why can't someone make a quiet one? I have a Dogtra,a tritronics .The best one is my old WAG-AG.The rest of them will scare the crap out of a puppy...vern

Vern,

Have you tried to replace the springs with some with less tension? I did this on all of my mine and they are way less agressive when they open. Not perfect, but a lot better...

You have an old Wag Ag that still works? I never got close enough to mine when I set them off to know and they didn't bother the dogs.

Replacing the springs is the best way. Or get a higgins releaser
