Dog beds?

Post by jbr03 » Tue Dec 06, 2011 1:22 am

Ive been looking into upgrading my wal mart bought dog bed for something a little better. The walmart bed has bare spots worn in it and the fill has flattened a little bit and it just plain looks nasty. As a fly fisherman Im well aware of Orvis dog beds and think they look good, but I have no experience with them, nor is there anywhere local where I could check them out. They also have stopped making some of the (in my opinion) better beds and was wondering if anyone knew of any place that made high-quality, long lasting dog beds.

Kuranda beds are very nice. Strong, high quality, generally chew proof and easy to replace parts.

Costco! Around $20, great styles, colors, very fluffy- square and or round. Zipper off to wash cover. Cannot beat the price for the quality.

Do have the Kurandas for in the kennel.... a bit pricey but worth it!

We use KONG beds from petsmart..they are guaranteed for life (just keep your receipt) they are great durable beds for in the house..in a kennel the KURANDAs are by far the best ive seen or heard about, we are buying them for our kennels when we move...ruth

The hidden cost of owning a dog is not buying quality stuff from Day 1.

I have a 14 year old Kuranda that just needed new nylon. Before the Spinone, a Lab and two Jack Russels slept on it.

For $65 dollars it works out to be cheaper than any bed I can think of.

From my experience the dogs sleep better on that design even though it looks like a Medieval torture device to some.
