JERSEY "PICKED UP" AN ODD BEHAVIOR..

Post by GUNDOGS » Tue Aug 30, 2011 7:37 am

Just wondered if anyone elses dog has ever done this....jersey picks up a large (egg size) rock out of our garden and carries it over with her to pee then drops it and leaves it there :? , shes doing it every time she goes to pee, its no big deal i just pick up the rocks at the end of the day  she doesnt chew them or damage my garden at all, just lightly picks up a rock and carries it over to where she has to pee drops it and leaves it..ive never seen this behavior before, could it be related to the fact she is in heat??..maybe she just wants me to know where her pee spots are  ...thanks...ruth :D

on another note, since shes been in heat her barking stopped all together so thats puzzled me too, dont get me wrong im not complaining  ...ruth

I wouldnt worry about I have an old setter that will collect chicken eggs for me, if I dont get them first, and will carry them off and bury them in the garden/flower beds. Doesnt break them, just moves them!
