If you want you can give her about a tablespoon for hydrogen peroxide that will make her throw up

I'm not sure what those are, but you should call your vet or an emergency vet in your area. Sorry I couldn't be of much help, but if you are concerned a call can't hurt.

Bean, when you know what it is and it is a solid that will not burn the esophagus and is not sharp you can induce vomiting imediately with the peroxide. I did the same with rat poison block.
hope all is well.

There are different kinds of those bones. I don't know what kind your's is.I Googled and did some reading. They are a potentially serious problem if many are eaten. I 'd go the emergency vet clinic . jmo

Not trying to be crass, but why in hades is there so many dog owners that don't own a "Dog Owners Home Veterinary Handbook" and have it readilly accessible at all times??

An absolute necessity IMO.

Peroxide is part of my kit. Not sure why you think no one has a Ekit. Most do. from my experience.

Why would I buy a book when I can ask you? :)

Nowhere in my post did I mention an Emergency Kit, Or the even include the words "Emergency" or "Kit" in my post. Please read thoroughly before you post... its embarrasing. I did however, pitch the idea that every dog owner should invest the $25-30 for the "Dog Owners Home Veterinary Handbook" - Where one can learn very elementary tactics such as inducing vomiting with Hydrogen Peroxide. Cheap insurance if you think about it. Having a vet come in the middle of the night isn't cheap, and it really leaves a sting when you pay that emergency fee for a call that you really didn't need because of a knee jerk decision.

Regarding peroxide - great idea. Also, if a tablespoon doesn't work, give it more until it does. A vet friend of mine told me you pretty much can't give the dog too much. Don't give it an entire bottle all at once, but if the recommended dosage for its bodyweight isn't doing the trick, more isn't going to hurt it.

Lighten up. Most emergency kits and animal first aid kits have the book.
