Thanks I really like him.

Its pretty tough to keep a pointing dog steady if another dog is going in and flushing them. I am sure that it can be done, but it has to be a lot of work.
After one year of hunting together my britt accepted my lab flushing the bird as much as he accepted me flushing the bird. They were inseperable and really viewed eachother as part of the team. When a bird was shot, regardless of who got the retrieve, when the bird was handed to me they would both lick each others faces a couple times as to say "job well done".

Did you know this picture is on the home page of "About Time" Cane Corso Italiano kennels? Los Lunas, New Mexico, USA.

I wanted to read up about them as I've never seen nor heard of them. I did a google search and the same pic showed up. I clicked on it and thats where I found the info. Is this your kennel?

CC I've also heard you say Luke dogs are aggressive & I don't know what dogs you have come in contact with but all my dogs started with Luke bred dogs & nothing is farther from the truth. They might love you to death.Go to Charlie's website & see how they call Blaze the invisible house dog granted she don't have testicles. My solid lvr male is one of the easiest going most natural bird dogs I,ve ever had my hands on.When his sire Ace was living I kenneled them together even 10 ft away from females in heat & never ever worried about a fight.

I'm not saying solid liver males are aggressive. Mine is far from it and is actually used as a pressure dog for temperament evaluation of rescue dogs, including pit bulls. He is excellent with other dogs, unless they give him a reason not to be, and adores people. He is just very, very quirky and he hasn't a drop of Rusty in him.

I have seen aggression issues in my dogs, mostly gender related, and overprotective behavior, including the dog that will eat you alive if you come near my husband. I have Luke, Koonass, QRSD and Rexx in the bloodlines, as well as some distaff lines. I wouldn't attribute the aggression to any one sire line, unless it was that Duke dog someone wrote about here.

I spent a little time on there website and it looks that they average around 105lbs to 115lbs. Another thing I found is that the 8 week old pups sell for a whopping $3000.00 (not a typo) in tact and $2250.00 fixed. It's just not fair.

My father in law has an English mastiff...2000.00 for a pup and she is 180 pounds. Wouldn't hurt a fly but looks intimidating.

Well then I hope he is the first PL to earn his FC running against GSPs! :D :D

That is funny, I need to get a shirt that says I love my lab, heck 99% of non bird hunters think he is a lab any way and ask "what happened to his tail?" Then I have to think, okay are they asking why it's short or why its crooked? :D :D

I love all dogs so I asked my kids who's avatar do you like the best and why . Mind you they're boys and they're 8 and 11.5 years old. I got a good laugh out of it and I hope you guys do too. Please don't get a fended I meant no ill will with this I though it was cute.

MCBOSCO because the dog looks like sparky on Friggle rock (A kids show from the 80's)
Praire fire pointers because this guy has a gun and a lot of photos
Cajun Casey Because the dogs look like Gunther
Norther cajun because it looks like his dog is going to poop ( gotta love boys)
jmsgunner because that dog has two heads and this sent my kids into a laughing fit.
ultracarry Because his dog smell something and they think it's bad by the look on the dogs face.
