Dream Brittany Breeding

Post by Chukar12 » Wed Jun 29, 2011 10:51 am

I am weary from the talk here on GSP.com, so I am seeking companionship from fellow brittany owners for comfort.

If you could dig up any two Britts and get a litter from them who would it be and why?

I am going to go Ban Dee and Lobo's Cotton Candy. It is a line breeding from two dogs with national credentials.

Terry,

you don't have time for this. You and the other GSP folk need to make sure that those toned down attack dogs don't bite anyone.

I'm going to go with 2X NFC, DC Bandee and two linebred half sisters Uno's Ace High Queen and Triumph Kate Uno, both daughters of DC Uno's Chief and grand daughters of HOF DC Uno's Jet. Both produced many great hunting dogs that several could have finished field titles if they were run in trials, and several champions, one of which produced a litter of seven that was one of the great litters produced in my life time. Several of that litter became Duals and I believe all of them finished on the bench. Pups from those two were sold through out this country and several were sent over seas. Both females were show quality but were in the field rather than the show ring.

I know there are bitches with titles that produced a great dog or two but the overall quality I saw in the pups of those two females were exceptional hunting dogs with great conformation and I don't think there was a cull in the bunch. There was always a waiting list for their puppies.

For a stud I would like Aux-Arc's Mark, Bean's Blaze, Perry's Rustic Prince or Gringo De Britt. For a dam, I'd like Colorado's Jumping Gypsy, Lobo's Cotton Candy, or Scipio's Little Chick. I'm not going to cross any pointer into the breeding :!: :!:

I like this, as a new kid to the Brit world this gives me a bunch of new names to research! Being new to Brits I have no opion, heck I read and hear people talking about this bloodline has pointer blood in it and that bloodline has this in it......confuses the heck out of me! From what I read on here there seems to be a lot of crossing between the GSP's and EP's...I guess thats ok?!

I would have to say Perry;s Rustic Prince for the sire for sure. So many good females to go for the dam... Lobo's Cotton Candy would be certainly on the list, and Hope's Ruffled Feathers (along with Perry';s Rustic Prince) produced some of my favorite dogs.

Interesting breeding would be Scipio Spinks X Scott's Gingerbread Lady
