Beginners Training Clinic; Amarillo, Texas May 14th

Post by Redfishkilla » Wed May 04, 2011 8:32 am

I thought I'd post on here let everyone know of a beginners training clinic hosted by Adrian Jackson at the Amarillo Bird Dog Club on May 14th. $50 will get you in and I believe lunch will be served. There probably won't be any white table cloths though. Bring pup along of course, it starts at 9:00 am. If anyone would like more information please let me know. Thanks, CS

Anyone who can make it should come. Adrian is a very experienced trainer and trialer. He is Texasdogtrainer on this site and others and is extremely knowledgeable. He has produced several champions and has numerous trial dogs in the ABHA. On top of that he is a super good guy. I buy dogs from him and whelped out a litter for him this year. If I did not have to work I would be going down myself. It will be worth it to anyone attending.

I know most people are off on the weekends but it sure would be nice to see 1 in the first part of the week.

Look at it this way, once you pay for all the gas the price of the clinic is cheap..... :D

That really is a great price for a training seminar. If you're ever interested in having one just west of the metroplex, let me know!

I'll ask Adrian if he would be interested. I know he goes to Abilene a bunch.

I wish that I had seen this post before today.

I would like to attend something like that, are there other clinics planned?

I just spoke with Adrian this afternoon. He called to tell me the pups I whelped out for him were doing well and that he took them to this clinic with him. I wish I had not had to work yesterday and I would have attended myself.

Hi tommy, I guess he had one of the pups you whelped and he had a pointer named Mike that was one of if not the best lookin' pointer I've ever seen. It wasn't a brittany, but it was a real good lookin' pointer.

He always has some really nice looking dogs and they can all run and find birds as well.
