How do you like it? That good looking guy is me, and I'm accompanied by my fine, intelligent 19 mos old male Llewellin Setter! Try not to be envious of both! :D

Looks like a very plain looking guy that is fairly intelligent with a beautiful dog of questionable intelligence. Strage how that happens so often. Guess thats where the old saying of "beauty or brains"comes from since it seems they just don't happen together.

Thank you. For those that don't know, that's my pup Sam's first trophy for winning first in the Derby category at the Central Illinois Llewellin Trial a few days before this picture was taken at Amo, Ind where I had the privilege of watching some fine dogs run at the DOY trial. Some of those fine dogs were Arlette's and Tim Rhode's. Even though I've never had a dog at Amo the past three years I have attended, it has been a fun experience overall, and you have never been hugged until you have been hugged by Arlette! :D

It is fun when you and Ruthie come to Amo . I liked our BBQ evening. May have to do that again next year

Yes, Bob fixed elk steaks one night that I believe Arlette had harvested. YUM YUM, was much appreciated. :D

Sal, when I go to the barber, I have my beard cut real close, and it just grows out that way. I do almost no trimming. I just shave above and below the beard.

Simply adorable! And, I'm so impressed. Not only are there no burrs on that shaggy beast, but there is not a single speck of food visible on your shirt!

Just because I occas spill stuff on myself and others doesn't mean I'm not a neat guy!

No doubt Sam is a nice pup in more ways than one. He doesn't spill stuff, but he did roll in deer remains about 20 minutes after that picture was taken. :D

Oh come on, I was being nice. And I do think Steve looks a lot better without that tobacco juice staining the beard. I just didn't know he cleaned up so well. Truth be told, joe, you might be as good looking as Steve and I when you have matured for as long as we have.

Good comments, although I don't use tobacco. You should put your own avatar on so we can see how handsome you are since you have been maturing longer than I have. :D

Also, the excitement should mount since tomorrow is my birthday!

Since it is used for paws and I wear Browning boots, I don't think so. Since it is wax, It might make your dog's whiskers cuter though. Designer dog whiskers! :D

I have run NSTRA a few times but have never gotten serious about it yet. It is so popular here that it is hard to get in the ones close to home.

Charlie, I knew there was several participating over on the west side of the state. I plan on doing at least three Llewellin trials in the next few years which has a NSTRA format, and I might do a few NSTRAs, depending on my health challenges.

Well(drum roll), there's less than seven hours until my birthday! :)
