Not Doing My GSP Any Justice

This is my first GSP and so far he has got to be one of the smartest trainable dogs I have owned. He loves to hunt and he picks thing up very fast. Maybe all GSP.s are like this. I have no experience training dogs but he just seems to get it.
He is fed well and gets plenty of exercise but the in-justice part is the lack of birds in our area for him to hunt. I keep thinking he needs to be in area filled with grouse, pheasant or something to point.

You are by far not the only man who thinks in this manner, try to make time to get your dog out as much as possible, you have given him a good home and
treat him well, never under estimate the value.
