Pics of our GSP Pup *update with new pics*

Post by subatomicstang » Fri Jan 02, 2009 3:39 pm

This is subatomicstang's wife posting. Here are some pics I took of our 5 month old GSP, Toby, today. I am guessing we introduced him to water correctly as he's a machine now!

Getting the bumper

Going after his jolly ball
Image

One of his favorite pastimes - running crazy circles around the pond through the grass
Image

He also loves running circles while dragging most anything, esp his jolly ball

Love this one..ha

Stand off

Waiting patiently for me to throw the bumper

My mare wondering what that fool dog is doing in the pond

Waiting again

Flashy boy!

And just because again he is so handsome and cute!

That's all!

Thanks! Yes he does have the life! We are hopefully adopting a 1 y/o female within the next few weeks (once she is spayed). The foster mom is actually coming up tomorrow with the female to check out the house/property and let the two of them play again. Im so excited!

Nice photos. I love looking at hunting dog shots, but I equally love watching a dog having fun and just being a dog. Looks like a lucky dog.

Quick question. My dogs love jollyballs, but have always chewed the handles off the traditional style...and then chewed a hole. Is your kind of jollyball also that soft rubber material and how do they last for you? Thanks. Denise

That jollyball is tough he hasn't damaged it yet although he doesn't really seem to chew on that one he usually chews on his rawhide bones. The jolleyball seems to be for his enjoyment and toatn around only

Denise, as my husband stated in the post above me (I obviously need to get my own SN!), the jolly ball is holding up well. However, this is a jolly ball toy for dogs. We were going to get him the traditional jolly ball toy that is for horses but found this, which is a ball with a hole in it, with the thick rope going through it. So far so good! I would say that the rubber on this toy is a tad tougher than the equine version!

Thanks again everyone.

Here are some pics of the female we are going to be adopting in 2 weeks playing with Toby. They had a blast!

Look at that tail - I think its cute

She is a lot more agile than Toby
Image

They love to run the edge of the pond like a dog track
Image

Stand (swim?) off - Toby was trying to get her to go swimming

Bottoms up
