My new addition

Post by Az Draht » Sun Aug 17, 2008 6:29 am

Although I really like my Drahthaar and will always have one, I felt that a more heat tolerant was necessary here in AZ. This spring things lined up and I was able to get a new male Pointer. I am just getting around to posting picture because I dropped my camera in the water and ruined it. I recently picked up a card reader so I could get the pictures off of the memory card.

Here are some pics of Puck. The pics range from 7 weeks to 4 months. He is now 5 months.

Very nice looking puppy! You will have a great time chasing quail with him. Who knows maybe I will get to see him down there this winter. Great looking pup.

What a great looking dog!

By the way, I have the Olympus waterproof digital. It's very small, takes great pictures and is shockproof and waterproof. I take it fishing all the time and you can actually hold it underwater and snap pictures or video. It'd be neat to get underwater dog paddle footage!

Honestly, I don't know the specific dogs yet. My papers are not back from FDSB. Here is what I got so far.

The sire is all Elhew. His sire is Goodgoing Elhew Cooper, goes back to Elhew Texas Ray, Snakefoot and Elhew Brass. His dam is from the same kennel, but they don't have a pedigree listed on there website.
The dam is Miller bred.

There is not any name that I recognize in the first two generations. But thats OK. Pointer have what? 400 years of breeding behind them, I am not concerned.

Thanks for the compliments. My cousin (breeder) enjoys hearing them. He is getting good reports from everyone. I tried calling him to get the rest of the names on the Pedigree, but he is on his honeymoon.
