Adorable pup....and already displaying a hint of the orneriness that Britts are so known for on that cute little face!

Thanks all,
he has been a ball so far and we are looking forward to years of fun and work from him.

These were shot with a Nikon D200 and Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8 AFS @ about f/4 in AP. Good depth of field for the static portraits, but a little open for the running shot, caught me off guard so just fired, hence the soft nose and snout.

That pup looks cranky and "full of vinegar!" Birds Beware!

Thanks again guys,
yes full of vinegar, cranky, orneriness all are perfect descriptions of Wren. He has bonded hard but is the most independent, and content pup I have ever seen. He just found his nose in the last few days and it is pretty funny stuff! We normally (what is normal after a week, LOL) walk about a 1/2 acre of field and back twice a day, him running a bit ahead or trailing and catching up, but the last few days we do not even make it a quarter of the way! His nose is to the ground and whether it be songbird, rabbit, mouse, ants, or QUAIL he can hardly leave the good smells. So far just lots of fun and "come" training, and the oh so important "NO". He hates that one though and makes no qualms about voicing his disagreement! Anyway more to come from this guy, and hopefully lots of birds!

That is a very nice puppy, and the photography is great. I would rather shoot a bird with a camera than a gun.

I understood the word "Nikon" after that I was lost with the ancient Aztec text, and hyrogliphics...

Oh, come on PowerPoint. It's easy. All Zerah was saying that for this particular shot you just run through this:
