I would trade my English weather to be back in the Nodak winter any day. It has rained here for the past 2 weeks without a break.

Gary,

No -- the meeting was actually an excellent opportunity to see how things were run. Sorry we couldn't stick around afterwards; we went knowing we'd have to skedaddle to meet some friends for dinner who were in town from Chicago.

I'll be sending in my fee as soon as it's not the weekend or a national holiday, and looking forward to the fun hunt for sure. Also looking forward to those training days.

-22 this morning, think it warmed up to about 3 this afternoon. Back down to 0 right now. As bad as it is for us humans try having a nutty 6 month old dog in the house. She's lucky though as next weekend she goes south for a couple months.

Heck I think I'm going to take a long weekend and go down to camp myself sometime in February. Get away from all this crap for a bit.

It was -6 Sat morning when I got up. I ran a Half Marathon that started at 11:00 and it was a whopping 8. What do most of you guys do when it gets this cold out? Do you work with your dogs much? I'd like to work more with my pup, she just turned 6mo. But its brutal out there. Supposed hit 40 this weekend, definitely going to get out then.

I miss the butt kickin winters of my youth when we had 5 - 8 days in a row of -20 or so for highs and SNOW! Not like these wimpy winters we have had to suffer through the last 4 - 5 years. That's just me I like winter and the snow sports and ice bowl football.

John you are a better man than I...

I have not been to Metro in ages, probably couple years. Everything still the same or has Rick changed things. Last I remember they still had 3 5-stands, duck tower and the trap and skeet fields of course.

What ever happened to the Vikings wanting to buy the property. I know it fell through, but just wondered about the circumstances?

I never heard about the Vikings, so don't know. Rick has changed some things, but it still looks the same. We have a little league team going, just Hart, my family, Hart's daughter. If you want to come shoot with us, send me a PM with your phone number and I will call next time we are going out. Probably two weeks.

Hart is sad. Packers went in the tank.

Yesterday -10, this morning a balmy 5.

My dog thinks he has died and gone to heaven in the snow, he spends plenty of time rolling, and burrowing in it. I gotta say I love the distinguishable 4 seasons. Fall, winter, then late spring are my faves in that order.

Most of last week was below zero, the hights getting in the single digits.
Since Saturday we've had a MASSIVE warming trend.
Saturday it hit 37, Sunday 46, Today we are supposed to get more snow.

And I can't waite. I love the snow and the cold, until it hits zero after that I'm a wuss.
