When do you close the entries for each Month? The last day?

I am assuming you will be starting a new thread for each month?

I think the only way to keep it consistent and fair to every entry is to allow entries until some predetermined time on the last day of the month. The only exception may be in November, when I may close it early if we are thinking of publishing a calendar available for the holidays. I don't know - I guess we will figure that out down the road.

For this month the deadline will be Saturday, January 31st at 6:00 eastern time. Until then, you guys keep all these great pics rolling in. I welcome the challenge of sorting through them all!

Ya might pick two on Jan 31 and two more on maybe May 31. If you do that you'll have all the months covered by the end of Oct and that will give you two months to get them made up. Just a thought!

I like that idea. Gets the wheels turning. I think it makes sense to do a duplicate month in January for Jan/Feb. And then we can do one at some point later in the year, to be determined later.

So what do you all think about picking Jan/Feb on Jan 31, then March on Feb 28, April on March 31, etc?? May screw up the holiday themes a little, but I think I am ok with that.

That all sounds fine! I like the idea of doing a calendar at the end of the year. My dog club does one on Cafe Press and proceeds go to the club. We could do a similar thing here where proceeds to to the forum.

Yeah, that is exactly what I was thinking. I definitely think the pics so far are turning out great, so why not? Even if we only produce a few of them, I would like to have one.

I am going to start a new thread with the amended rules. Moderators, could you please lock this thread when you get a chance? It is getting a little unwieldy and I don't want there to be any confusion if I change things midstream.
