Microdot

Post by Brushbustin Sporting Dogs » Mon Feb 25, 2008 12:49 pm

How many living sons of Microdot are there? I've got one female sired by RJ's Microtuck, but wondered if there were any more sons of Microdot competeing or just retired and studing out.

Carolina Ranger II is a direct son of Microdot. "Duke " was runner-up at the Nationals. He is retired now and at stud, there is also frozen semen.

I also have two grandsons of Microdot. FC Machester and Chrome. With frozen semen you can really make interesting pedigrees. The pedigree in my sig. listed under Dillon is only 6 months old yet his sire is a 1/2 brother to Microdot's grandam Jetta Brown.

I think you will find a lot of direct decendants but not sure how many sons or daughters are left.

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Ya I know its very tough to find direst sons of Microdot thats why I got on here. I have a Microdot grandaughter that should get her Master this year, hopefully spring but might have to wait till fall. And if I can get her Master on her I'd like to breed her to a Microdot son it'd be a tough one to get done I think but i'd be a great line breeding on Microdot plus a few other very nice dogs would be in the pedigree. One of her other gpas is Lobo's Blazing Bandit whose line breed Beans Blaze might go that direction also breed her to a Lobo's Blazing Bandit son like Bada Bing. Just toying with ideas in my head and know public. The female I'm talking about is in my signature Brushbustin's Ebbie.

I should have said it was the National Amateur Championship , year 2002. He is still able to breed at this time. His owner is Fred Strawson of North Carolina

I know of one daughter here in Az. The field title was never finished on her but she had 8 points, I think! I was told this was the last natural breeding of Microdot it produced one pup. She is one great wildbird dog.

This daughter is the mother of one of my dogs, which I hope to send out on the circuit this fall, finances willing! He has his juvenile points and hopefully will get some more towards the field points.
